In hindsight i probably shouldnt have purchased an extension lead with sockets facing opposite ways as its a pita in a lot of scenarios if you dont want to bend the ever loving out of your plug cables

Extension leads are safe as long as the combined load of the devices in use does not exceed 13 amps standard safe load on a single plug socket and thankfully most modern electronic devices do not draw much current which gives the load
