Pros
It’s compact and easy to setup. The user interface is intuitive and very reactive.
Power on startup is almost as fast as the tv. Picture is upscaled to 4k which seems to make catch up channels bearable to watch. Remote is chunky with big *.
Fast-forward is smoother in recordings. Scheduling recordings is simple. It seems reliable at recording series.
Cons
The likes of manhattan and others are all guilty of not mentioning this important information in their blurb.
When contacted manufacturer was told to reboot, reset to factory setting but to no avail. Firstly in didn't connect to services and daily on first using message said no connection. It has a serious hard drive and or software issue.
Disconnecting the manhattan aerial and switching it off both the connected and unconnected tv’s returned to their normal operation.

However as there are no physical controls on the outside of the unit the remote is absolutely vital to operate the unit and if the batteries expire at 8pm on a sunday evening tough

The front of the unit shows either a red or blue light and it is impossible to tell if it is recoording or just on standby unlike my very first humax which displayed the time in standby and details of recording or watching

Humax no longer offer this and to me it is a blindingly logical necessary feature
