Yes there are a few small adjustments that could be made but its not broke so dont fix it

You just have to put the slider on the container and then choose which blade you want to use thats it

There is a turn knob that allows you to control the thickness of your slices and you can see which setting you are on by where the adjuster bar is in the see through lid
