The last book mammoth had them timejumping to a more modern time which you would think after their adventures in prehistoric times would be boring but it completely was not

It would have been better if the last jump would have been something in the mid or later part of the 1940s that way the two of them could have traveled the the balance and see if the rest of the tribe made it
