Pros
Plug it on your network and not directly to laptop worked for me. Tried on windows and mac. Takes 2 minutes to install, great product.
Iphone app is great to receive calls on the go, and saving money. It is cheaper than having a roaming number.
It's a must have item. Then ur good to go. U wont be disappointed.
Cons
Sometimes even out going call is difficult - busy signals. Can make outgoing calls, but no incoming calls are received. On the iphone app, it says that you can't receive text messages!

Owning a magic jack is worse than living without a phone. When everything works it is great but problem solving or getting assistance from the company stinks. Le service client est désorganisé et n’arrive pas à vous aider pour trouver une solution.

It is a bit expensive at first to activate the device and transfering your present canadian phone number porting because prices are in us dollar

Convenient to use easy after you get it runing just if you run into any technical or need any customer service i never got any kind of response neither by calls nor by chat and the topics displayed do not include all the importants issues

I have really bad cell service where i live and i needed a landline for a job although this is voip and not a landline but you use a regular telephone
