I had to drill that hole in each bracket i installed so it could be firmly attached to the faceplate

I suggest the manufacturer provide that drilled hole in the bracket so the homeowner does not need to drill it

I have two eero 6 routers upstairs and an eero gen 2 router downstairs

Im not sure why they manufactured these for the old style outlets as they are slick and look great but if you have the new style rectangular outlet you cannot fasten these as there is no centre screw hole in the new outlet style

They are also pretty expensive for what you get but do provide a slick clean look for the eero pods
