Pros
Good stuff. Great little setup. I like the battery operated and that they flash. Good customer service via amazon.
They're nicely bright without being overpowering. It’s noticeably bright in a moderately lit room. It's super bright during the days in apartment. Brightness is perfect!
Cons
My daughter is devastated. Ordered many el wires in the past and did not have an issue until this item, defect maybe. I read several troubleshooting recommendations which all involved soldering that i am not equipped to do.
Wire to the unit was not coiled. Wild, high-pitched noise emanating. If there was no buzzing then the issue was with the battery pack not the wire.

I had a spare molex connector laying around so i did the 5v pins from that into a mini buck converter stepped it down to 3v and then into the control board that comes with it
