Pros
Great for making eggs in. Makes a lovely fluffy omelette. Made cornbread 3 times in it and came out great - greased the pan before pouring in the mixture - slid out great.
Will last a lifetime if cared for. Also highly recommend getting the cast iron lid that goes with it. Buy from amazon warehouse if there are any available for some good discount!
Cast iron is great for searing and seasoning. Preheating is a chore but can be done over time.
I have a couple of le creuset which are fantastic but for different use. Great product. Great quality.
Before first use - wash thoroughly in hot soapy water. Do have something under the rack to save youself cleaning up any potential grease. Then bingo a brilliant pan, great results.
Cons
The cast is chipped in couple of places. Had to scrape them off the bottom of the pan. Awfully complicated and time consuming.
Rusted badly after first wash. Rusted again after first seasoning. Damaged my hob after the second seasoning. Not for the low maintenance cook. For anything else just go for a stainless steel pan.

On the good side you dont need to be worrying about the harm it may do you especially if over heated on the bad side things do stick sometimes even when its well treated

Due to the size of the pan this had to be done on the hob as it doesnt fit in my standard oven
