Pros & Cons
Pros
This is not ‘lightweight’ in’s my opinion, but it is very sturdy and durable. The front is sharper than i thought it would be.
The holes are large enough to sift out the sand in a speedy manner yet small enough to capture most targets. It's very effective, yet easy to dig with. All the welds look solid.
Cons
The first return was extremly difficult since the box is large and bulky. The welds on the replacement scoop, are not very good and will result in a fail, eventually.
Highlights
Quality
This is a high quality wellmade piece of equipment thats as tough as a tank
I was impressed with the quality of work and thickness of the metal
It hit the floor bounced up and landed with the scoop edge right on the top of my bare foot
My only complaint about this scoop is that it costs 100 and the finish quality isnt there
Price
Overall the cost is scary but in the amount of time and effort it saves in the long run its well worth the price
Shipping
Well made if i was to buy again it will be from this seller excellent product fast shipping
Packaging/appearance
Im reminded of the proverbial monkey with a hand stuck in the cookie jar

If you have an even halfway decent detector capable of isolating the target to a 6inch radius you should be able to use this scoop effectively and uncover the target in a couple of scoops
