I have it installed in a detached garage. The modem/router located on opposite side of property in the basement of the house. The magnetic mount and angling without having to buy extra accessories is worth it. A breeze to setup too.

The camera is fantastic. Liftmaster such a great brand. Great quality camera.

One thing i wish it did better is manage ambient brightness changes. One is is with the resolution of the camera. The second is the same for the dark / ir mode.

Surely this is not the first installation that involved a vz fios modem/router. The camera is decent, however, the support is almost none. Chamberlain need to fix this and stop taking money from the consumer.

Kudos to amazon for accepting return of both cameras. Third party requires reordering. Never pay for their subscription service. The camera has been returned for refund.
