Update 1 it turns out that the reason i didnt have the difficulty others did in assembly of this product is because it is missing all of the natural rubber cushions that go between the wood parts see photos so the chair is not actually assembled correctly and the seat is rubbing a scar into the frame

The reason i am currently dropping my 5 star review to 1 is because after contacting modway the company that makes this chair to see if they could send me the rubber pieces they refuse to ship them to me and have instructed that if i want this resolved i contact amazon for a replacement chair
