It is expensive, but my son has literally played with it every single day since christmas. His progress in less than a week is outstanding. I would definitely say well worth spending the money, as i can see the appeal of this lasting many years.

The price was very good at amazon well done

I agree with the other comments that this is a fun and educational toy but watch out as the unit is manufactured in the us where they obviously feel that london is the capital city of the united kingdom

There is no mention of england scotland northern ireland or wales or the associated capital cities and when we had to tell our daughter that this was a mistake it put her off using the globe for a couple of days
