Ive read other reviews and seen photos that show that this unit generates so much heat that it started to melt the plastic housing

It is on the noisy side but not so noisy that one cannot carry on a conversation while in the same room as it

Only problem and the reason for not giving 5 stars is that it does not remember the settings when it turned off so you have to redo everything from scratch when you turn it on
