Thats not enough to drive the lcd i could get a backlight occasionally but the contrast was awful and one could barely make out the display even if one held it at just the right angle

I contacted kuman and though they directed me to a generic install your full graphics controller video that didnt really help they did respond promptly and i do believe they would have worked with me further if i continued to have problems

Ok first off arduion is the only way to go in my opinion when doing a 3d printer

Melzi boards are horrible and when they fail there is virtually no support

So with that said if you are going to build upgrade or otherwise use a 3d printer buy an arduino
