Unfortunately the fuse is one use only so if this happens you will have to disassemble the blender and replace the 2 fuse

All of that probably contributes to a lot of perfectly good blenders getting thrown in the trash

It doesnt screw the base as tightly to the jar as does the normal screw onoff system
