Old review either someone is selling placebos or there was a bad batch produced because this grounding strap had one job to provide a path for electrical discharge from wrist to ground and it fails at that job

It seems that the conductor in the lead is not making contact with the termination at the wrist strap end looks like a manufacturing defect to me

Unfortunately i cant just solder the lead to the termination like i could if the problem was at the alligator clip end so this strap is pretty useless as is
