Hard plastic plugs cause the cable to fray at their junction, so the sound becomes intermittent. Is very thin and seems to be very fragile. Poor quality/qc - came broken on one channel.

Now obviously the 35s are bluetooth so bose must have thought we didnt need a decent length cable but in my experience the cable was too short when using it to watch movies on some flights

I also use my qc35s with my travel guitar via a headphone amp and this can only be done via a 3
