Pros & Cons
Pros
It's nutritious and healthy. It's nice to find a food that is supportive for liver cleansing and also adds to the flavor of foods. Keep in fridge for sustained freshness.
Much milder and less salt than kombu.
Cons
Vitamin sea is much less salty than vitamin sea. This is especially worrisome under covid times. Vitamin sea needs to redo their product.
this product contains heavy metals known to the state of california to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Damaged packaging reduces the healthy benefits of the product.
The risk far outweighs the reason i bought it which was for soup. It is still quite rubbery and tough to chew. In addition, it is difficult to break off a small piece without it shattering.
