I am taking one star off as my 21 month old just started the buckles by herself without any problem

Cons the wood scratches really easy one of the mortise joints in the side bar that adjoins to the front leg is coming loose and pops out often dont tighten down the screw on the underside of the seat too much because it will pop thru the wood learned that the hard way need to retighten metal bar occasionally as the foot step frequently gets loose and moves backwards

Overall i really like the chair but the mortise joint issue makes me wonder if adults should really sit on it

I had to contact keekaroo for the tray and seat though because they wouldnt sell it by itself the tray for safety reasons
