Cons

Product defective. Overheating, doesn't work, and is a safety hazard. Save your 10$. It's really frustrating.

On two different linux systems- only 4 additional ports seen (not 8). It has never stayed fully powered a single day. It plugs into the wall with a usb, which is a huge flag that it won't provide the power necessary to charge your devices.
