Pros

The kasa app and the setting you can tweak in it are above the others. Pairing these up within the alexa app was unbelievably quick and responsiveness to commands again notably quicker.

Easy to install and the app walks you thru each step. Be sure to choose room once you get the rhythm of the installation.

X10 powerline carrier (plc) was sold by sears in the early ’80s. They work seamlessly with alexa or google home.

Cons

The delay on turning on the light is unacceptable. When you flip a light switch you expect the lights to come on immediately. Sometimes i give the turn on command, the app shows it is turned on, but the switch is still off.

Kasa wifi switches don't work directly with my hubitat hub. Not ideal for rooms with tvs or kids rooms where a tiny amount of light is needed.
