The switch works as advertised. It seamlessly blends in with my home decor.
After connecting it, configuring it to my wi-fi was incredibly simple. If it's blinking white and red on install, that's normal prior to linking to wifi. After talking to customer support they recommended resetting switch, now it works flawlessly.
The fan controller gives me 4 useful speeds + off. The switch is responsive like a smartphone. It's really more of a touch screen where you slide your finger to adjust brightness / fan speed.

Installation is as simple as any other combo switch. I have a separate kasa light switch for some recessed lighting that i plan to install.
Cons
My switch get reset and factory reset 3 to 4 times a day because my son put his finger accidentally on both trying to get the right fan speed. I know it needs the reset function but this logical design is a major flaw.

Packaging/appearance
Ive been waiting a while for these and the device works great it was easy to install though that power box is packed
Make sure that the box has the neutral wire providing it constant power for wifi interaction and control
Competitiveness
My family has both several alexa devices and several apple devices so compatibility with both is important for me
I have many other kasa devices and of course this works just as good as all of the others
Instead of wire nuts i went with wagos
Installation is as easy as other kasa switches

Since i started with their ecosystem i have loved everything except the fact that they didnt have a fan control option

That means that everywhere i had a fan i had to install two different switches not easy with these in a twogang box and did not have a fan speed control

You need your line neutral ground and then a light load and a fan load

They do not use posts but instead use wire whips with nuts

Cons it is rather bulky so hard to fit in with another switchbut this is all kasa devices
