Pros
The d2 steel holds its edge good enough to make some good feather sticks after all the splitting. Comes razor sharp straight out of the box. The materials and workmanship are world class. It is sturdy and has a good weight to it.
If you're in a pinch, the ka- bar should get you through the night just fine. The main advantage over the regular ka-bar is the serrated part of the blade.

This knife is a beast! The black and silver motif makes a beautiful knife. Couldn't be happier.
D2 is an incredibly durable steel and will hold its edge after hard use. Some people have doubt's on d2 tool steel being used for knives claiming or thinking it's brittle. I highly recommend it to any d2 steel fanatics out there.
Cons
A real ka-bar knife with such a great reputation should not bend and break the first time it is used. The blade was not serrated. The * on the handle is not the same, and the finger guards are totally wrong.

Blade arrived very sharp and the included glass filled sheath is perfect it has 2 different types of locks to ensure that the knife will only deploy when you want it to i tried to shake the blade from the sheath and the knife just would not move

The blade is razor sharp partially serrated which helps a lot with cutting rope and paracord and the material of the handle makes it nearly impossible to lose your grip on it

Only issue is that the tip is sharpened slightly unevenly but nothing a dmt stone can’t fix

Im accustomed to the usn fighting knife mark ii or the plain kabar knives so this one required no instructions
