All of the tension is applied to a narrow bond point and eventually it will fail

The large is better for night time so they can stretch out but medium works well for day time when they just want to lay down cool off and chew on a toy

My senior dog had very bad arthritis and spent a lot of time sleeping on our wood floors to stay cool but the lack of padding wasnt very comfortable and it was difficult for her to get up
