Pros

Easy to install and made out of quality materials. Comes with screws and adhesive tape for easier installation. Great price and came with screws as well.

Used double-sided, exterior tape to attach the magnet. The magnet is stronger than the original lock and certainly more stable. The magnetic grab is excellent, color is great, especially liked the double sided tape that came with it.

Not too big and not too small. Nothing fancy. Would recommend highly. Function as stated.

These are really sturdy. These are very nice, and the price was respectable. We could only find plastic cased ones for $7 each at our local store.

Cons

The screws that came with these catches are so soft, that the philips head top strips out when trying to screw into pre-drilled pine. They should have been listed as 2# magnet strength.

A lot of the parts were stuck to the micky mouse adhesive used for the catches. Will have to figure another way to keep the puppy out of the trash can :-(.

I would give them 5 stars if they gave instructions and packed in the 2 different types of screws with the kit

Competitiveness

It certainly is a much better option than the closure installed by the manufacturer that failed

And these are higher quality than what i find in other stores

I would also recommend going the your local hardware store and buying 40 flat screws for mounting the magnets
