Although the concentration does need to be quite high to make a fairly strong beverage 4 scoops yields a 5 oz pull for 12oz of milk in my ratio of strength adjustable as desired but the benefit in comparison to espresso ive used in the past that requires less grounds for the same strength you dont get that burnt caramel taste that you get with very strong roasts of espresso instead you get a very dark and sweet pull almost like a bittersweet chocolate or a dark lager at the sacrifice of using more grinds to get the desired strength  Read Less
