We allow staff and students to bring their own devices and sometimes particualrly during setup there are issues with our captive portal and the user comes to our it services office to ask us for help

We are on a corporate wifi system so we dont have a wps button and we wanted to use it in access point mode anyway

If it does get unplugged it reconnects itself automatically

Having tried several devices to improve wifi coverage throughout the house nothing has come close to the performance of this bit of kit

Used wps ok but it still showed as a separate ssid when looking at available wifi connections

Using wifi analyser on my phone which shows mac address of the ap you are connected to clients were not connecting to this though
