Much neater and more convenient than shaping onigiri by hand. Onigiri this makes when you pack it to capacity are pretty generously sized. It is super easy to use and makes a cute perfect sized onigiri. This onigiris press/mold is absolutely awesome!

I was simply looking for a reasonablypriced mold for making japanese onigiri rice balls and also a mold for making yakionigiri rice cakes

You can just put the rice in the mold with a spoon or ladle without touching the rice if you are careful
