This little instrument does what it claims but you must have patience. Once find out where to plug it in it's easy to use and re-use. Easy to use very good manual.
This great little unit takes the guesswork out of counting check-engine blinks. Picked this code reader up to assist me with diagnosing issues on my old '93 7. Rpm irradic idle ford ranger 1992,4.
Cons
This unit advertises a process of koeo followed by continuos memory. This toy does the same thing as a paper clip.

Lots of people would rather do the wiring trick to save a buck and read the codes through the dash system save yourself the headache and just pick something like this up especially for lt40

Then the connectors seem to have come loose inside and so now it powers up but does nothing

It literally just shorts out the appropriate pins in your obd 1 terminal to cause the fault code to flash on the dash
