It's a little drafty in the winter, but we added some cardboard insulation during the deep freezes. The weather stripping provided is pretty good quality and will probably last.

The cat door is a cinch to pop into the window frame. Put a chair cushion in front of the hatch when the cats are in for the night. This means a mosquito, spider, aunt, or fly can come in.

My cat is pretty normal sized, maybe 10 lbs. My problem is he loves to bring me in dead critters.

Fits in the window like an air conditioner. It's quite a tight squeeze, but it's working. Prior to purchasing, just simply lift your window and measure the widest inside points.

There was a quarter of an inch gap at the top of the flap. The maximum width is 33 inches. The flap wouldn't close.
