Dont use city water plants cant handle all the dissolved solids so you will need a tds and ph metter buy digital and and manual ph tester with cilbration solution 7

The pump went out within the first month reported it to customer service and they replaced it very fast

Do not use the pump and air stone that came with the system if you cant stand the noise
