The only thing i can say however is the lights on the front are fairly confusing

Theres a tiny blue led light soldered on the back end of the circuit board which connects to your drive

Oddly enough however these lights will shut off from time to time and wont even work

When i first got it the lights turned off on their own when the system was off and not in use

Im pretty certain this isnt due to disk activity as they will remain on even when only the device is turned on but not connected to anything else

Fortunately they dont seem to affect performance as theyre only a cosmetic thing but if you want to know when your disk is being used to prevent unplugging when its accessing data
