Pros

The taste is wonderful and the mouthfeel creamy. Tastes great on warm veggies or in sandwiches on egg dishes. Delicious cheese sauce for veggies and casseroles.

Smart balance years ago had the pinnacle of flavor. The container is a pretty good size and should last me a long time. The flavor is great with a lowish salt content. It’s so much cheaper than store bought, and it tastes much better!

Cons

The flavor is very mild while also overpowered by a starchy/chalk/flour flavor. Not a lot of cheese flavor, more of a plain powdery flavor.

The product tastes and reacts in food like it's at least 50% flour. It is a chemical confection that doesn't even melt like cheese. It tastes too much like powdered milk for me.

The consistency/ texture is a little weird and it is bland. Is quality control and consistency with labeling just poor? Product has inconsistent quality.

This is the best quality i have tried yet

I enjoy baking biscuits rolls etc and i add this cheese powder into the dough and then fold layers of shredded cheese also

6 bags of popcorn and a decent amount of cheddar crack later they are almost in a food coma

Unlike other cheese for popcorn this one actually tastes like real cheese and not a manufactured topping

Like this stuff and very priceworthy for flavoring all sorts of food popcorn veggies etc

This is wonderful product a bit expensive and somewhat chalky

So this saves me money and i think the flavor is better

Packaging/appearance

We received the crack excuse me white cheddar powder and immediately made a bag of popcorn

Its much different but it tastes just like the cheese packet in annies shells and white cheddar

Competitiveness

Way better than those little canisters you buy in the stores

With this product i can make it as cheesy as i want and i no longer buy the name brand

Compared to grocery store prices buying this in bulk is unmatched

I bought this hoosier hill farm version instead
