Most of the ugg type shearling boots have insoles as flat as pancakes

They are much thicker than the insoles that come with her shoes so much thicker that they wont fit in most of her shoes without pinching her feet or pushing her heel out of the shoe when she walks even when wearing very thin socks

They do work great in boots but dont expect them to work with lower cut shoes unless the shoes were really loose on you to begin with
