The bright red makes it easy to find in your freezer which is good if yours looks anything like the room of hidden things that mine resembles

The lid s great too because its solid not flexible like the silicone and snaps tight

The only downfall is see is because it holds such a large portion in each space it would be difficult to freeze portions for young babies
