If you do have a tall stove and a tall canister look for a stove site that lets you set the windscreen on high ground

In the cold this improves butane stove performance in the worst case scenario it can overheat your canister and create an explosion hazard

Especially in hot weather be sure to feel the top of your fuel canister periodically and make sure its not hot ideally not even warm to the touch
