Pros

This kit has the necessary components to convert your hi-lift to a winch. The kit even includes a clevis pin with a wire retainer to make the foot of your jack quick release. This is a must when you leave the pavement.

The bracket that adapts the jacking surfaces to chain makes operation a lot safer than i could of rigged. Be sure to look at youtube for lots of ideas for rigging.

Absolutely awesome. Arrived super fast. Best of all, ships to an apo address.

Cons

Was more like a harbor freight than an arb product. This thing was poorly put together. To quote another let me down in a big way.

The chain and shackle are probably ok, if not stuck in deep mud, but i'm not happy. The shackle is undersized physically for the webbing strap width. The strap is thin single thickness web with un-reinforced ends so is easily damaged.

This kit worked so well with the hi lift jack that this was purchased as a gift for another jeeper

Only thing preventing 5 stars is that i have not yet tested in field but do have confidence in product

Price

The 2 ends that connect the chains to the jack and the bag is where all the cost comes from

Competitiveness

Good product would like to see a higher grade shackle included and strap however for the price

Not a top end recovery kit like the 300 warn recovery kit but really nice for the price
