Pros

It works on any laptop with a usb port. Uses the grave accent mark as a prefix on the barcode.

They are easy to install and they do as good a job as other higher priced models. We use it with salonbiz (salon software) and it's fantastic.

Cons

The scanner continuously scans and 1 of every 3 scans has to be passed through multiple times to work. Scanned some codes successfully but not others. Takes 5 minutes of resetting and aiming to scan a single code.
