Pros

This pint sized food mill works great for soft foods. Grind it, mix it together and freeze it in ice cube trays. Used to turn regular pate cat food into a finer pate for one of our cats.

These are more self-reliant than an electrical blender. Easy to clean and portable. Pop it into the dishwasher for cleaning.

Cons

Only if the food is super soft is this thing practical. Doesnt even work to mash potatoes or squash. Anything wet leaks out the bottom. Same for a cooked mushroom.

I regret that i spent the money on this and that amazon even has this product on their site. This product is nowhere near the one i had. Amazon, you mislead us when you say this is an amazon choice. I'm confused how this product has good ratings!

Baby food grinder defeats the purpose if it makes an epic mess. The blades are too dull to grind anything. Hand crank isn't comfortable to use.

This is probably the poorest design of a product i have ever seen. Do yourself a favor and skip this hunk-o-junk until they redesign it better. Maybe mine is defective but based on other negative reviews, maybe it's just a design flaw.
