Small and lightweight geiger counter. Good to have around to determine if there is any ionizing radiation is being emitted by objects around your home. Seem to have a king og geiger tube mounted on a fuse braket.

Awesome product i have been testing it and it’s performance and yes i’m happy
The radium is still giving off radiation after all these years
Since then every single time i turn it on it runs fine for an hour or so then starts again reporting extremely high radiation levels
Price
Excellent value for the price and performance was surprisingly good
So this fit the bill as it was quite inexpensive and had the accuracy that i needed
It was good value for peace of mind
Shipping
Will be in japan next week and going to be close to a few hotspots
Competitiveness
This device worked well enough to compete against devices costing much more
I was slightly sceptical purchasing this given the price compared to other geiger counters but it worked perfectly
The cpm would rise to about 55 cpm versus a background radiation count of 10 cpm
Price is relatively fair in comparison with other gm counters

After about 2 years of sparse use turned off in a drawer for months at a time then occasionally left running on a desk for a few days it began acting strangely

The device feels a little on the cheap side and would have love to have had a carrying case provided but i made due with an old waterproof watch case

I tested the device on a tritium tube watch i had lying around and you could hear the counter tick faster its nothing scientific mind you but at least its consistent

Hope i never have to use it for its intended purpose but then again were in crazy 2022
