Pros

If you are using an m50 on a tripod/in studio close to ac power, this is a great alternative to using batteries. The correct method is to install the * battery into the battery cavity.

It works flawlessly - to date. It works like a charm. Did not disappoint.

I've copied information below from glorich on how to use the adapter with the canon m50 mirrorless camera. It's very helpful - because attaching it on this camera is a bit trickier.

Cons

The * battery is nowhere to be found in this listing at all. This is horrible! Either doa or just not compatible. Used it for filming and notices horrendous hum/buzz on the audio.
