Slightly easier to hold a 4inch than a 5inch when it comes to quick skins removal of veggies and fruits
The 4inch paring knife specifically is great for smaller jobs where the santoku would be awkward
I bought their santuko and on a whim i got the gs7 as well

I sent it back because it was dull and i didnt like the way it felt in my hand it just felt too small or like it was gonna slip out of my hand so i spent a few more bucks and got this paring knife by global

A knife with an attached wooden or plastic handle will cause stickiness deterioration and sanitary issues later down the road

The balance is slightly off if you just attempt to balance the knives on your index finger just being curious
