Pros
Cm is a perfect size for dicing and slicing onions, tomatoes, celery, garlic. The blade is not as thin as the old knife so am still searching but if i find a global with a thinner blade i would have no problem buying it.
It has a nice balance and sharpens well on my electric knife sharpener. They stay sharp for a good long while too, but ensure they are sharpened with an appropriate sharpener when they need it.
Cons
This knife is different, it stains badly. Large, difficult to remove stains have now appeared over the handle and on the blunt edge. Owned global knives for years so well aware it shouldn't be put in a dishwasher.

Just one thing to note that because it is such hard steel it will tend to rust if it is left in a puddle of water on the drainer
Competitiveness
I already have the blade guard and a minosharp plus 3 on the way
Combined with a whetstone or a minosharp to keep it at its sharpest it is a knife that i see myself using for a very long time

If you cant afford a lot of knives but want a really good practical workhorse then this must come high on the list

It comes in a small thin plastic sleeve which if treated very carefully in your drawer might just save you the extortionate fee for the global cover
