One big problem i have had with shutoff and splitter valves is that the valves often have rather fragile plastic control levers that dont stand up when hoses are dropped or stepped on and the smaller levers are hard to turn the large plastic control handle on this valve has outlived several of the smaller handles on other shutoffs and splitters and it offers turning leverage on both sides of the handle that makes it easy to turn

I got them because they are one of the few models available with the unbreakable roundstyle twist knob

Most others out there use a single cheap plastic 34wing34 that is designed to break at first provocation best avoided

This item looks and feels vary durable have not installed it yet how ever this item will save me money as i do not need to replace out side spigot
