Pros

Made from hardened steel and black oxide coated for rust resistance. They have a set screw in the side and come with the hex key to fit. These are cheaper than getting a shaft collar in many cases.

Cons

The 1/4 ring is loose so when you tighten up the screw it turns at an angle. The steel is so soft, that the gentle tighten that didn't even keep the stop from moving up the drill bit was enough to completely strip out the hex insert. The set screw is ... Read More
