Pros

This scale is of decent quality. Happened to see a special on these, and grabbed an extra one. If they get damaged, don't hurt to replace.

This is a thin, flexible one which will be less durable, but with careful use should last a lifetime. It's a ruler, it's exactly how big it should be. My only complaint is the metal is thinner than other metal rulers i have.

Cons

Idea is fine but execution is lousy. Very flimsy, doesnt slide very well. Too flexible, and much too flimsy. Not good for a seamstress.

Only favors imperial system (bananas). The written description says graduations in inches/imperial system. It almost belongs in a kids geometry box.
