Previously i would cup the round part of the fruit in the round part of the press then the top would come down on top of the cut section of the lemon

The rubber handles do not help in the least

Some of them had hinges that looked cheaply made and flimsy and i did examine them carefully by blowing up the pictures of them

Frankly even the electric ones looked like a complete pain to me
