The 2500g (5. Lb) head is like a fireman's axe. The bevel is really steep, so i bought a sharpening kit for it. Wood with twisted grain isn't a problem, but of course knots slow it down or stop it.

I used a 16pound sledge hammer and wedges on those

You will want to keep the steep angle otherwise the steel will roll when busting through a lot of knots
