Pros

Simple to operate, with a few self explanatory *. A large (size) instruction book comes with it, so it’s easy to read and the features are thoroughly explained.

This coffee pot is an upgrade from your standard maker. This is the fanciest one i've ever owned. I'm no expert on coffee pots and this is a step up from my current model.

The brushed aluminum finish is attractive and firs in nicely on our kitchen counter. It has a matte gray finish with stainless steel control panel. This ge drip coffee maker is a good all around appliance.

First of all, it's the nicest and classiest coffee pot i've ever had. Aesthetically it's terrific, and it's got a smaller footprint than my previous coffee maker. They are reliable and do not disappoint.

Cons

The carafe is really hard to pour out of and the top is hard to lock. If the lid is not in the locked position, once you go to pour the coffee into a cup, if tipped too far forward, the lid will pop off and hot coffee will spill everywhere. You have t... Read More

Decent price for a tasty cup of coffee

Packaging/appearance

It looks really great on the counter and its super simple to use

Comes with a gold filter which im a big fan of

With nearly the entire appliance wrapped in stainless it always looks dirty

The photo on the box shows black tumbler that seems specifically suited for this coffee maker and i was hoping that a tumbler was included

Competitiveness

And it is very nice and stylish compared to a typical coffee maker mainly due to the brushed stainless look of the carafe

It has some nice features and certainly looks much nicer than your lower end maker

Weve used cuisinart zojirushi and melitta thermal coffee makers in past years and id say we prefer this ge over those

Of course i also support american made products which are harder and harder to come by these days
