Pros & Cons
Pros
The main strap has sort of a ratchet mechanism to tighten; i like that concept. Alot of shoes on the market these days are $200-$300 and you really dont need to spend that much unless your really serious about competing.
Cons
The cleat mounting slot is right down the middle, not offset to the inside. The inside of the tongue of the shoe towards the front is odd shaped and flimsy, it often folds over. The ratchet straps is ridiculously long, and i have high arches!
Highlights
Quality
The quality is much better than expected
For the money i am very pleased with this product
I already had the spd cleats which came with the catrike
Price
The price is unbeatable ive had super expensive clip shoes that broke within months
Well built solid feel and a fair price
Shipping
Great shoe that runs true to size plus fast shipping
Competitiveness
I needed mtb shoes for my new recumbent catrike that has clipless pedals
I can walk without my clipless pedal cleat hitting the ground
So i cant say these shoes are better or worse than another brand

True theres not a lot of padding on the inside

But this is typical for riding shoes you want all your energy going into the peddle not being wasted compressing padding
